The UK has a lot of unique things that people from all around come the world to visit such as The Tower of London, Stonehenge, the Angel of the North and Buckingham Palace. Now we can add another trophy to the cabinet as Travelworld have just been awarded Erwin Hymer status and have opened the UK’s first Erwin Hymer Centre.
Travelworld are an exclusive Erwin Hymer dealer in the UK and are also specialist dealers of HymerCar, Niesmann+Bischoff and Carado.
The family run company has worked tirelessly over the past 40+ years to become the number one dealer in high end luxury motorhomes here in the UK.
All of their hard work has lead them to the very prestigious position of being awarded Erwin Hymer status, the only dealer in the UK to have been given this top title.
Their brand new dealership is more than just a sales floor with luxury motorhomes on display. At the new Travelworld Hymer Centre in Stafford is a one stop shop for all things motorhome. All under one roof they have a sales centre, a massive 25 bay service centre and an accessory store featuring all the top brands.
The decision to move to Stafford was to ensure that Travelwolrd have a prime location that is a lot more accessible to the public. So if you are on your travels you can pop in and get anything you may need sorted or just stop by and pick up a new luxury motorhome.
The new centre really is a sight to be seen. The sheer size of the show room is very impressive and once you go to the back to see the even bigger service centre that will blow you away. They have 25 bays for vans and are now able to do their own MOT services on site.
Another impressive fact about the newly given award is that Travelworld are now the only privately owned Hymer Centre outside of Germany. Another strong feather in the cap for Travelworld.
Also at the launch were representatives from each of the brands that Travelworld stock who were on hand to see their vehicles on display and mingle with visitors.
This gave the guys from Dethleffs, Hymer, Dometic and various others a chance to get direct feedback from the customers who use their products which gives a unique insight into what the public think of their merchandise.
To give the launch the high end kick off it deserves Travelworld laid out wine tasting sessions with celeb win connoisseur Jilly Goolden and outdoor enthusiast Julia Bradbury gave a presentation and officially cut the ribbon to open the site.
Having spoken to Ross Edwards, managing director of Travelworld Motorhomes before the launch he said: “We are very excited to be opening our doors to everyone. Julia and Jilly will bring to life what it means to own a motorhome and the kind of fun and healthy lifestyle motorhome ownership brings.”
We had a lot of fun at the launch as well as a great spot of lunch, is there anything better than a hog roast with all the trimmings? What made the day so great was the turnout of people. Travelworld invited their existing customer base who all came to visit to see the impressive new site and find out how Travelworld can help them in the future at the new location.
