History of Elddis
The first Elddis caravan was not for sale, as it was the pride and joy of Siddle and Mary Cook, the brand’s founders. They loved nothing better than camping in their spare time with son Raymond back in the 1950s, but never found a caravan that quite suited their individual needs.
With this in mind, they set about designing and building their own caravan, complete with fridge and spare wheel, which was considered the height of luxury in the mid 20th century. By 1964, they decided to share their caravan dreams with others and the Elddis brand was born. Over the years, its caravans have continued to feature the latest mod cons and accessories, though these now go beyond a fridge and an extra wheel!
