Bailey’s Olympus range of caravans are a popular choice among those new to the pastime, though their simplicity and value-for-money also make them a firm favourite among even the most-experienced of caravanners. As with the rest of the range, the 504 is built from the Bailey Alu-Tech system, which incorporates state-of-the-art technology to give a strong yet lightweight shell. Furthermore, the manufacturer’s patented system is also markedly more aerodynamic than those of other caravans, enabling users to cut down on their fuel bills when heading off for a holiday.
What makes the Olympus 504 different from the rest of the range, however, is the interior layout. Unlike the rest of the Olympus caravans, the five-berth 504 boasts a traverse rear washroom layout with two separate living and sleeping areas, meaning it’s ideal for parents keen to enjoy at least a little space from their children. As well as the wraparound-style seating area at the front of the caravan, the rear table can also be converted into a double bed, while a fifth single bunk can also be opened up.
At the same time, the 504 boasts a contemporary off-side kitchen, complete with stainless steel sink set in a high-gloss worktop, in addition to a microwave, a four-burner gas hob and a 170-litre fridge. Aside from the furnishings, the Olympus 504 also has a range of other features likely to appeal to the modern caravan enthusiast. For instance, low-energy lighting throughout means that both battery costs and carbon footprint sizes are kept to a minimum, while also meaning a family can pitch up somewhere for a night without having to worry about electric hook-ups. The Bailey Olympus 504 comes with a range of upholstery and internal fittings upgrades available for small additional costs.
