Visitors to the Birmingham NEC attenting the Caravan and Camping Show this week (18-23 February) will no doubt be drawn to the brand new caravans, motorhomes, holiday homes and tents on display, but some of the smaller stands are just as interesting.
In Hall 2, caravan parts supplier Whale has unveiled an innovation which could make a big difference to your next holiday.
The new Whale Exterior Water Pump EP1642 has been designed to make hooking up your external water tank as easy and stress-free as possible.
This submersible pump is effortless to fit, thanks to the Easi-Press Plug design and the separate electric and water channels ensure it is safe to use.
Whale has thought about the long-term when designing this new accessory, as the high-quality dust cover should ensure that the product holds its shape over time and prevents debris from entering your water supply.
The pump can draw water at a rate of up to 15.8 litres per minute, and with a weight of just 500g, you won’t have to worry about exceeding your payload limit.
The Northern Irish manufacturer makes heating and water systems for Elddis, Bailey and Auto-Sleepers caravans and motorhomes, but the EP1642 is also compatible with Truma Ultraflow Filters and Compact Housings.
If your caravan’s water system is causing you grief, then head along to Hall 2 and ask the folks at Whale for their opinion. Rumour has it that they’ve even brought some Guinness over from the Emerald Isle with them…
