Cornwall has long been a popular summer holiday destination with thousands of Brits heading to the county every year.
However, it has now been dubbed as the “best ever” place to go for a vacation as part of a survey conducted by CarbisBaysHolidays.co.uk.
Holidaymakers are often very nostalgic when they visit the south-west of England as it has been home to some of their favourite holidays.
The survey found that 99 per cent of people that had been to Cornwall said that they would recommend it to their friends.
Tasmin Oates, customer care manager at CarbisBaysHolidays.co.uk, said: “Cornwall really does have something for everybody from world-class attractions, to stunning beach resorts, historic towns and out-of-the-way villages.”
With the summer holiday season approaching once again there will no doubt for thousands of people flocking to the campsites and caravan parks across the magnificent county to enjoy the sunshine.
And as always, the key to getting the best pitch is booking early.
