Overview

Sterling brought out the popular Eccles Ruby model in 2009 to celebrate their 90th anniversary. With a long history of caravan design behind it the Eccles marque has undergone various re-designs. The current line up consists of seven layouts suited to both couples and families with designed with Scandinavian influenced interiors.

Layouts and interior

Each model has a class leading 1.95 metre headroom and the 2.3 metre wide body shell is encased by one-piece, thick-gauge, high-gloss aluminium sidewalls.

2010 saw the introduction of an exterior barbeque point, and the main kitchens were refitted with a stainless steel effect fridge and a granite effect moulded sink. The Thetford oven and 3 burner hobs are also finished in stainless steel to complete the look.

The washrooms are fitted with separate lined showers, and the two twin axle models both hold a 40 litre underfloor insulated fresh water tank with an autofill control system.

The entry level two berth Sterling Eccles Topaz has an MTPLM of 1,387kg whilst at the heavier end, the 6 berth twin axle Sterling Eccles Amethyst weighs in with an MTPLM of 1,818kg.

The complete line ranges in price from £14,881 to £17,875:
