The Lunar Quasar 546 is an ideal family caravan, offering a six-berth model which is the same size as the 556 model but with a slightly different layout. There is a convertible double at the front which has roll-out slats for easy operation, and the children’s beds come in the shape of four single bunks to the rear, though the front double can be used as two singles if preferred. In the centre of the offside is the washroom, which is well equipped with a Thetford C250 electric-flush toilet, a domestic-style washbasin and a spacious shower unit which has an ‘Eco Camel’ water saving head. The kitchen runs along the nearside and is fully kitted-out with everything a good cook needs, including a Sanyo microwave, 112-litre fridge, four-burner hob with electric hotplate and a large oven with grill.
Like all models in the Lunar Quasar range, the 546 has the stylish ‘Chestnut’ wood interior and the sleek ‘Crystal’ worktops. The fashionable ‘Tilla’ designed upholstery complements the scheme well, while a heavy-duty stain-resistant carpet throughout offers hard-wearing practicality. All windows in the 546 are double-glazed and make for a light and spacious feel, which is boosted by the energy-efficient LED lighting system. There is also plenty of storage throughout the 546 too, including a chest of drawers at the front and overhead lockers.
With Truma’s dual fuel heating and water systems, the Quasar 546 is as reliable as they come and is sure to stay warm throughout the colder months. Multiple TV points all boast a digital connection alongside the music system which offers radio, CD and MP3 playback, all of which is powered by the 25 metre mains connection lead with 12V charger and mains transformer.
