The new Elddis Xplore was unveiled at the National Camping and Caravanning Week even in Hertford

Elddis has given its fans a glimpse of what the 2014 range will look like, as part of National Camping and Caravanning Week 2013.
The Camping and Caravanning Club main event was held at the organisation’s Hertford site this year from 27 May to 2 June, and a brand new Xplore 504 prototype (pictured) caravan took pride of place.
Rachel Moncrieff, Marketing Manager at Elddis, said: “Customers were surprised that the Xplore is our entry level caravan – it’s such good value for money with more specification and style than expected at this level.”
She added than some of the day visitors had travelled to Hertford specifically to see the new Xplore, and Elddis’s Spencer Davies was on hand to handle the constant stream of admirers.
This compact, lightweight range was launched back in 2008 and includes several layouts that are unique to the UK market.
The latest version boasts a reshaped exterior, step-on hitch and a restyled gas locker, which should help it stand out in this highly competitive class.
Improved Affinity
Also on display was the 2014 version of the Elddis Affinity, which the company has high hopes for in the upcoming season.
“The Elddis Affinity continued to wow the crowd,” Rachel continued. “After a hugely successful launch last September, we expect this range to continue to be a best-seller in 2014 season.”
Like every Elddis-built caravan and motorhome, the Xplore and Affinity both feature Solid Construction, which is the company’s new manufacturing technique that promises to make for stronger, lighter and drier caravans than ever before.
Elddis plans to unveil the full 2014 range to the industry next month, and the first retail models will arrive on dealer forecourts in August.
What’s more, Elddis fans can view the entire range in one place at The Lawns Show (7-8 September) and the Elddis Factory Open Weekend (21-22 September).
