Whilst most caravan sites are flat, there are times when you may find yourself on a surface that is not level.
This can affect the caravan in various ways, particularly appliances such as fridges that need to be at a certain angle to function correctly.
In this video, Neil Greentree, General Manager of Greentrees Adventure store speaks to Caravan Times about some of the ways the problem can be tackled by caravanners with specialised equipment.
These products include a ramp which caravanners can drive onto on one side, to boost the height and level it out.
The other product is a levelling cradle – a light, aluminium device that is placed under the wheel and lets you jack up the caravan with ease, getting it up to around eight or nine inches above the ground.
Neil also provides caravanners with tips on a number of ways to test that the caravan is level, such as putting a glass of water on a flat surface in the caravan, or using a twin spirit level.
He also explains whether corner steadies can be used as an safe and effective way of levelling a caravan.
