Awarded four stars by Visit Britain, the large Thetford Forest site is found on the edge of the largest lowland forest in the UK and is perfect for caravanners looking to get closer to nature. Many a country trail alive with wildlife are accessible from the park, but if the kids need more adrenaline then a Go Ape! adventure park is nearby. Banham Zoo is also within driving distance, as is the medieval city of Norwich and all it has to offer.
With 150 pitches available, you can choose from a range of hardstanding or grass, both with and without electricity. Seasonal pitches are also available and the site has storage facilities, while the usual amenities are provided alongside a family shower room, laundry and dishwashing provisions. Fishing is available for those with a licence and the park is suitable for pets.
Prices are standard for a Camping and Caravanning Club Site and non-members can stay if they pay an additional £7.10 per pitch per night. Adults are charged from £7.75 per night in low season and £9.45 in high season, while children are charged £2.95 in high season. Family deals are also available and storage costs £5.25 per night.
