A perfect family caravan, the Lunar Quasar 556 six-berth single axle tourer is the same size as the 546 model but with an alterative bed layout. A convertible double bed in the front living area can also operate as two singles, while at the rear two bunk beds also offer the option of converting the bottom beds into a double. The bathroom in the middle of the offside is fully-equipped with an electric flushing Thetford C250 toilet, a domestic washbasin and a good-sized shower unit with a water-saving ‘Eco Camel’ shower head. The nearside kitchen meanwhile provides everything a whizz in the kitchen would need, boasting a large oven and grill, Sanyo microwave, 112-litre fridge and four-ring hob with an electric hotplate.
The 556 comes with Lunar’s stylish ‘Chestnut’ wood interior across all furniture and storage solutions, including the chest of drawers and overhead lockers. The sleek ‘Crystal’ worktops complement this perfectly while the fashionable ‘Tilla’ upholstery completes the scheme well. Aided by an energy-efficient LED lighting system and double-glazed windows, the 556 has a light and spacious feel.
Running dual fuel Truma water and heating systems, the 556 is a warm, efficient and reliable caravan. Powered by a 25 metre mains connection lead, the Quasar 556 has colour-coordinated power sockets indoors as well as multiple TV points, all of which have digital connections while the music system plays CDs, MP3s and radio. A smoke alarm comes and one-key-fits-all lock system both comes as standard too.
