On the island of Anglesey off the north-west coast of Wales is the Cae Mawr Caravan Club Site, nestled in a secluded coastal spot. Just a short drive away from Anglesey’s stunning beaches, the site is perfect for exploring all that the island has to offer but is also not far away from Snowdonia so outdoor adventures are on your doorstep. If you’re looking to head out for a bite to eat, we’d recommend the Tavern 1924 – St David’s Park in Pentraeth for its great home made grub and stunning views over the bay.
The quiet site is open from March until October to both members and non-members, and offers a total of 76 large pitches with both hardstanding and grass plots available. The site doesn’t have a toilet block, but it does offer waste disposal facilities and Wi-Fi access, while visitors are welcome to bring their pets.
Cae Mawr is great value, with pitches costing either £4.90 or £6.25 depending on the time of year. For children, it costs either £1.45 or £1.85 per night, while for adults the rates are either £4.20 or £5.25.
