Vintage caravan owners have been showing off their tourers as part of a ten-day regional tour, which rolled into Daylesford, Australia, over the past weekend.

Around 12 enthusiasts visited the town over 20-21 April and the wide array of old school mobile homes was a joy to behold, with models ranging from 1940s to 1970s and towed by a plethora of vintage cars to boot.

The Hepburn Advocate reports that the attendees were members of Vintagecaravans.com and will visit a number of places within the Victoria region including Maryborough, Wedderburn and Bendigo.

Speaking to the news provider, owner Geoff Tangey said: “I joined the group in 2006 because I saw someone with a vintage caravan and wanted one. [I think the best part of Vintagecaravans.com] is it takes us back to our history.”

Vintage caravans are becoming all the rage of late and the Lancashire Telegraph recently reported an entrepreneur from Ribble Valley who converted a run down camper van into a luxury vintage tourer.
