The dog walk area has been given a significant upgrade

Caravanners could be in for a howling good time at the Coed-y-Llwyn Caravan Club Site in the Gwynedd district of Wales after the park’s dog walking area received a face-lift.

The set-aside area of the 96-pitch site has been refitted and refurbished to make it a more hospitable area for campers’ canine companions.

Among the most notable differences is the all weather surfaced walking area which makes for a safe, clean and easy-to-use site for caravanners to walk their dogs.

Talking to the Caravan Club, the site warden explained that the new project was developed with the twin objectives of “improving the dog exercise area and enhancing the flora and fauna of the natural woodland”.

In addition to the new walking surface, the surrounding trees have been thinned, while the tree canopy has been opened to allow for the growth of bluebells and other indigenous woodland plants.

Coed-y-Llwyn is open to caravanners and motorhome owners from March 25th to October 31st this year.
