Bailey of Bristol has received significant praise from another celebrity for its range of caravans.

Actor Arthur Bostrom, best known for his role as Officer Crabtree in the BBC1 1980s sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo, has praised the Bailey Orion 430-4 as being the perfect form of transport and accommodation while he is out on the road.

Bostrom is currently touring the UK with the Original Theatre Company in a new adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’ critically acclaimed Birdsong and explains that his Bailey caravan makes “good financial sense”.

“For an actor on a long tour having a caravan makes perfect sense: visiting sites in beautiful settings with the fresh air of the great outdoors, short drives to the theatres and the joy of not having to live out of a suitcase week in and week out,” Bostrom added.

Birdsong rolls into Bracknell’s South Hill Park Arts Centre on 22 and 23 April before hitting Crawley and Llandudno over the next few weeks.

And Arthur is in good company, as other famous Bailey fans include Simon King OBE, comedian Rowland Rivron and Her Majesty The Queen.
