Just 15 minutes’ walk away from the traditional seaside resort of Minehead, the Caravan Club Site there makes a great base for families wanting to spend time at the beach. The site itself is attractive and well maintained, while the nearby Dunster Castle is a great place to visit for a day out. Exmoor is also not far away if you want to go exploring, but if you’re looking for something indoors why not try the Dunster Dolls Museum to see more than 900 dolls of all shapes and sizes.
Minehead offers 50 pitches to members only, the vast majority of which are hardstanding. Amenities at the site are of a high standard and include laundry facilities and a toilet block, with pets welcome and Wi-Fi connectivity available.
The site is open all year round, with prices varying throughout the year. Pitch fees range from £5 to £8.20 per night, with per person charges on top. For adults it costs between £4.40 and £6.35, while for children it is between £1.30 and £2.20.
