Although generally you do not need formal training before you can hitch up your caravan and tow away, Towergate Insurance believes that receiving training on towing your caravan can be hugely beneficial.
We talk to towing expert Neil Greentree about the many positives of learning to tow a caravan properly; including risk reduction, and re-educating experienced drivers of hazard perceptions, especially the added dangers of towing a caravan.
So what can you expect from your towing lesson? We see Neil in action as he instructs the nervous first-time tower Karl Scott on the road, demonstrating the benefits that these lessons can have for drivers.
