Sometimes towing a caravan can be a completely stress-free experience, but during heavy traffic it can be a real challenge.
When roadworks or other delays push back your arrival time or weather conditions hinder your progress it’s easy to get frustrated.
In this video, we talk to Edward Cross, insurance expert at Towergate, who has some handy tips for dealing with this situation.
He tells us that caravan insurance claims often peak around bank holiday periods and suggests that those travelling during busy periods should plan ahead and take their time.
Ed also shares some advice from his own experience of trying to drive through Paris during the summer months.
