Eccentric and loveable full-size caravans from Germany famous for their teardrop shape.
If there is a “MINI” of the caravan world then TaB would be it. With their unique teardrop design, and diminutive size TaB tourers are lightweight, compact with fresh modern interiors.
Manufactured at the Tabbart factory near Frankfurt in Germany, their pint-sized form comes in a range of three layouts, the TaB 320, TaB-L and the TaB Offroad.
The seamless aluminium insulated construction maintains a cosy cabin temperature and with the lightest model weighing with an MTPLM weight of 800kg, they are some of the lightest weight tourers on the market and can be towed by a large range of vehicles.
Although seldom seen on British roads, their quirky shape and bold graphics have developed a strong online following.
Floorplans
The retro 320 design has an overall length of 477cm and is just shy of 2 metres wide. The Offroad models have a slightly larger footprint and consequently MTPLM of 1000kgs. Both models have a seating area surrounding a table which transforms into a wall to wall double bed. Opposite the dinette/ sleeping area is the compact kitchen featuring a 2 burner hob and sink.
The top of the range TaB -L model is larger still with a fixed bed and fully equipped washroom with a toilet, basin and shower cubicle. The rear dinette converts into a further small double bed and a fridge and generous sized heater complete the high spec finish.
Distributors
There are currently three UK dealerships distributing TaB caravans, Catterick Caravan & Camping Centre in Yorkshire, Southdowns Motorcaravans in Hamshire and the Shropshire based Springbank Leisure.
