Swift Challenger Sport 586

The six-berth Swift Challenger Sport 586 is ideal for larger families who enjoy touring breaks together. With a front double or two front single beds, and four bunks in the middle, the caravan is the largest single-axle tourer in the Swift Challenger Sport range. With so many people being accommodated in the one space, it is probably just as well that there are two seating areas with tables – one in the front and one in the rear. The spacious washroom is located in the middle of the tourer, with a separate shower providing added comfort. Meanwhile, the modern kitchen features a Thetford electronic ignition, digital control 112-litre fridge, a Thetford thermostatic oven with separate grill and a granite effect sink with removable drainer.

An AKS 3004 Stabiliser and AL-KO ATC trailer stability control are both fitted as standard and should help drivers keep the vehicle steady when towing. Meanwhile, a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector will provide peace of mind for those holidaying in the caravan, while the CRiS identity number etched onto the windows and chassis, combined with the concealed security data chip within caravan construction should help identify the vehicle if it is stolen.

With such a big caravan being towed behind the car, the aerodynamic styling should be all-important for keeping costs down. Meanwhile, provision for a solar panel connection could help tourists keep their energy costs down and reduce their impact on the environment.
