The Caravan Club’s site at Southport is just a few minutes’ walk away from the traditional Victorian seaside town and is an ideal base for families looking to explore Southport and the rest of Merseyside. Victoria Park nearby has a great children’s play area complete with miniature steam train, while Splash World is also within walking distance and its leisure pool and recreation centre are fun for all the family. Grown ups might prefer the Royal Birkdale Golf Club or Portland Spa, however, both of which are less than a mile from the caravan site.
The site is well equipped too, with a toilet block and family washing facilities provided in addition to the laundry room, Wi-Fi and waste disposal that are on offer. A total of 100 hardstanding pitches are available from March until January and caravanners are welcome to bring their pets.
Low season prices per night begin at £6.15 for the pitch plus £6.15 for adults and £1.55 for children. These rise to £9.90 for the pitch, £7.75 for adults and £3.10 for children in high season. The site is only open to Club members.
