It is unlikely that there is another caravan site in the UK where you can hear a lion’s roar from inside your tourer, making Longleat one of the most unique destinations in the country. Located next to the famous safari park in the heart of the Longleat Estate, the caravan park has enough on its doorstep to keep the whole family entertained for the duration of the trip. As well as the wild animals of the safari, including its Gorilla Colony and Lemur Walkthrough, Longleat’s Adventure Park has its own railway, hedge maze, boating lake and more. Bath and Bristol are not far away either, meaning a city break can also be a feature of your stay.
Facilities at the site are first rate and include a parent and child washroom, making it an ideal family destination. A toilet block and laundry room are also present, while Wi-Fi access is provided. Pets are welcome too and the site is open to members and non-members of the Caravan Club. A total of 165 pitches are available, most of which are hardstanding.
Prices per pitch begin at £6.10 a night during low season and rise to £9.85 during peak weeks in summer. Adults are then charged between £6.15 and £7.85 per night while children aged between five and 17 cost from £1.85 to £3.10.
