Back in the 1970s Gobur first started experimenting with the concept of a folding caravan. The idea of a fold-down caravan offers an advantage to those with limited storage space, as well as the useful by product of better fuel economy.
Today the Gobur “Carousel” is unlike most folding caravans, in that it forgoes canvas for a folding hard top. The one-piece moulded fibreglass roof, rigid insulated walls and vinyl ceiling ensure that those used to regular caravans will find the transition easier.
Gobur do not stock their vehicles at caravan dealers – instead you can visit their retail division in Norfolk which now offers the largest display of new and pre-owned folding caravans in the UK. Built to EN1645, all Carousels are approved by the National Caravan Council.
