Cobleland Campsite, Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Situated on the banks of the River Forth, Cobeland Campsite is one of the smaller Camping in the Forest sites, with 126 standard and premium pitches. The site is within the Queen Elizabeth Forest and has views of the Loch and scenic paths for walking and cycling. The River Forth runs shallow along the site, providing the perfect location to practice fishing and experienced fishermen can obtain a licence from the site and head further along the river.

There are two wildlife walks on site and with appearances from rare red squirrels and Scottish wildcats these always prove interesting. The local area also provides plenty to do for visitors; Aberfoyle village has a range of shops and restaurants and for the more active there is a Go Ape course, including the largest zip wire in Britain, and a golf course.

Dogs are welcome on site and the site has excellent facilities including toilets, shower blocks, disabled facilities and a laundrette. Prices start from £14.50 per night for a standard pitch in the low season and £19.50 for a premium pitch. This rises to £18.00 for a standard pitch during the high season and £23.00 for a premium pitch, for two adults. Camping and Caravanning Club members receive a discount of £3.50 per night and families can get a discount of £1 per night.
