A quiet and secluded caravan park, the Club’s Carsington Water Caravan Site (formerly Blackwall Plantation) is located within a perfectly landscaped area of a pine tree plantation in Ashbourne. This gives it a lovely level of privacy that suits those looking for a more relaxing caravan break. The soothing Brackendale Spa nearby will help with this, while the great Red Lion Inn is just over a mile away and offers good food and drink if you don’t feel like cooking or fancy a night out. The Main Sail restaurant in Carsington is worth checking out too.
With 130 pitches to choose from it is quite a large caravan site and guests have mainly hardstanding pitches available, though some grass are also offered. Amenities include a toilet block and laundry service, while a family washroom and Wi-Fi internet access are also provided.
Rates per pitch start at £6.15 in low season and increase to £9 during the busiest weeks, with per person fees paid additionally. Adults are charged between £5.75 and £7.20, while for children prices range from £1.55 to £2.55.
