Twin axel
Bessacarr began life specifically as a caravan range when they were first produced in 1949, and they were always seen as stylish, quality touring caravans.
As the company expanded they sold more luxury layouts, and became one of the leading twin-axle caravan models.
Swift launched Bessacarr Motorhomes in 1997, just over a year after it bought the Bessacarr caravan brand.
Since launching the motorhomes, the company has continued to live up to the Bessacarr reputation of providing high-quality, luxury ways to travel.
Swift’s Bessacarr motorhomes are available as two different ranges, which both have a white exterior design with ‘Italian ash’ wood grain and soft furnishings.
Both ranges vary between two and four berths, and they each have 12-volt exterior power points for pumping water.
All models have one-piece, 5000 Series marine grade aluminium side-walls, and the bigger models all have an AL-KO chassis conversion to improve road holding.
They each have 2.3-litre engines, which offer a 9% improvement in fuel economy on the standard set-up.
There is optional cruise control and cab air-conditioning, as well as fresh and waste water tank heaters and waste pipe insulation for the winter months.
All of the coachbuilt motorhomes now also come with a ten-year bodyshell integrity warranty.
