As would be expected of a caravan named after the place in London where the Houses of Parliament are located, the AS Westminster is a classy number with many a luxurious and upmarket feature. Two living areas to the front and rear convert into double beds, with the comfortable Reflex foam upholstery making great mattresses. An end shower room is equipped with a top-of-the range Thetford electric-flush toilet and washbasin, while the central offside kitchen comes with everything you’d expect, including a three-ring hob with hotplate, grill, oven and 800W microwave as well as a large fridge-freezer.
The Westminster looks superb throughout and has large tinted windows which are not only double-glazed but also frameless. While these provide privacy, three rooflights in the kitchen, living area and washroom give a light and open impression. The luxurious ‘Welburn’ soft furnishings come in one of three colour schemes, while the Belgian deep pile drop-in carpets add to the sense of comfort.
The hardware is all of an equally high standard, and an under-floor space heater and water tank maximise storage space while being highly effective. Built upon an Al-Ko chassis, the AS Westminster also comes with an ATC trailer control and AKS 3004 stabiliser, while the alloy wheels look great and come with their own wheel lock.
