Whale named in Sunday Times Best Small Companies To Work For list

It is the fourth executive year in a row that Whale have made the list

Whale (Munster Simms Engineering Ltd) has once again performed well over the past year and has been rewarded with a prestigious accolade.

The firm has been included in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies To Work For list for the fourth consecutive year and has jumped up 27 places since it was first inducted to the index in 2010.

Officials have explained that it is testament to the work that Whale is currently carrying out. The results noted that the firm landed 89 per cent positive score in terms of promoting the organisation’s values.

Patrick Hurst and his senior management team was supported by his staff with 90 per cent of employees stating that they had confidence in the company.

Mr Hurst said: “The support and loyalty of the workforce in Whale is second to none. Throughout 2012, the company has continued to expand, opening a second factory and acquiring a new company based in California, and we achieved the highest sales in the company’s history.”

Caravanners may know Whale part manufacturers as they supply the caravanning industry with a range from water pumps and filters, through to taps, showerheads and heaters. They predominantly supply to Elddis and Bailey caravans.
