The Caravan and Motorhome Club seem to have a new hobby in collecting awards, only 2 weeks ago we reported that they picked up a brace at The Insurance Choice Awards, check out our Video Article Here. The latest news coming from the U.K’s most popular touring club is that they’ve had a trio of accolades bestowed upon them from the 2017 Top 50 Companies for Customer Service Awards.
The ‘Top 50 Companies for Customer Service’ 2017 awards were announced on 25 October at a gala event at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham pitting customer service teams from the best on the business against each other across a number of categories.
The Club walked away with;
Best Company For Customer Service – Travel and Hospitality
Most Improved Company Overall – Live Chat
Member of The Year 2017
The Club successfully defended their Travel and Hospitality crown from the previous year and picked up awards in the digital space for their live chat efforts as well as a great all-rounder as Member of The Year.
With a service team of over 140 employees based nationwide there are going to be a lot of backs to pat. Peter Martin, Head of Operations for Member Services said, “I am, once again, so proud of the whole Contact Centre Team and all our staff who have contributed to these three award wins. These accolades are well deserved and testament to the strength of our customer service team, both at head office and across our network of sites. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible experience for our members, from the first enquiry right through to when they are on holiday, so it’s incredibly rewarding to have our efforts recognised. We’re delighted to have been named Member of the Year too as it demonstrates how we assist other companies and constantly strive to improve performance in the industry overall.”
The Caravan and Motorhome Club seem to be setting a precedent with their award haul this year and we wish them all the best at future ceremonies.
