Fully rotating caravan could blast you into orbit
Forget NASA’s three year experience requirement or the European Space Agency’s year long training programme. Skip all of it and don’t worry about qualifications required. Just like the lucky people in this video, you could get into the astronauts’ caravan. All you need is… not love, that’s a different one. All you need is £1.
This 360 degree, fully rotational caravan was spotted at the Grand Henham Steam Rally, and is based on a Victorian ride called the Haunted Swing. Fully hand operated, the astronauts’ caravan seems to do a good job of scaring the living daylights out of a few kids (and maybe a few more adults). We can definitely peg the owner as a space enthusiast; the homage to space travel inside the caravan and the ride’s name are not coincidental.
