Swift Group sales over £45 million since September

The Swift Group has (excuse the pun) swiftly broken sales records since the start of the 2015 season. Swift has seen over £45 million worth of sales in touring caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes since this September, not the least of which took place at the Motorhome and Caravan Show that ran from 14-19 October.

Commercial Director Nick Page was very pleased with the results, commenting: ”With promising sales and interest early on in the year and a product line-up that we felt was very strong across all market sectors, we were optimistic going into the NEC show but still a little unsure about the level of recovery in the economic market.”

Nick also hinted at what one could expect from Swift next year, adding: ”We are delighted with the results, which show a highly encouraging sign of resurgence in the caravan market, right from entry level to the top of the range. Sales have been so good our order book is full well into next year”.

Swift’s motorhome sales have been 40 per cent higher than last year for all sectors, including the new Kon-tiki range, newly added Fiat cabs and Bolero which have all received Swift’s Black Edition treatment.

Touring caravans have also performed well, with the new Elegance and Continental ranges already requiring extra production to meet growing demand. Sales for the already popular Sprite have gone up 80 per cent, so it doesn’t look like any of these models are going anywhere for a long, long time.
