Caravan enthusiasts do not have long to wait for another touring extravaganza in Birmingham, with details of the new Spring Caravan & Camping Show starting to emerge.

It seems like only yesterday that camping fans were soaking in the scene at the NCC Motorhome & Caravan Show in Birmingham.

Held at the National Exhibition Centre early last month, the event proved a roaring success with a record number of 98,000 caravan enthusiasts heading to the Midlands in search of all things tourer-related.

And following hot on the heels of this success is the brand new Spring Caravan & Camping show. Set to be launched by NCC Events, the six-day event will offer enthusiasts the chance to buy and browse all the latest vehicles and accessories.

It could be just the ticket for those new to caravanning too, with delegates keen to help introduce newcomers to this popular holidaying pastime.

Running from February 19th to 24th, across four halls of the world-renowned Birmingham centre, the event will also provide visitors with information and access to tents, camping gear and a variety of holiday homes and lodges for their perusal.

More importantly, the timing of the event means that, with half term in full swing, families can bring their children to see and enjoy the various delights on offer.

All of the most-recognised brands and manufacturers will be in attendance, with the likes of Bailey, Coachman, Elddis, Lunar, Swift and Eterniti among those that have already confirmed.

In addition to this, representatives from the Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club will be there to provide advice and information on everything from towing to motorhome maneuvering.

A yet-to-be-announced list of celebrity guests will also be adding some glamour to what is already shaping up to be a memorable few days for caravanners.

In a new twist on proceedings, four interactive feature areas will be provided to visitors including the UK’s largest indoor kayaking pool, a campfire cookery zone, an angling pool and a special drop zone climbing wall.

Advance tickets are available now, priced at £8 for adults, £7 for over 60s and under 16s go free.
