The UK’s summer may be hotting up but a number of Caravan Club sites are looking ahead to winter and have extended their opening dates.
Coniston Park Coppice, Longleat, Poolsbrook Country Park and Stonehaven Queen Elizabeth Park have all announced that they will be accepting visitors later than originally planned.
The former will be open until 11 November 2013, Poolsbrook will be operating until 2 January 2014 while caravanners will be able to use Longleat and Stonehaven until 4 January 2014.
Officials explained that the extended openings mean that people can visit the Power Boat Racing at Coniston which takes place between 4 and 8 November.
Longleat Safari Park will also be holding a series of Christmas events meaning that people can celebrate the festivities at the site, although it will be closed on Christmas Day.
The extended openings will allow people to enjoy a number of weekend breaks when the nights begin to draw in towards the end of the year.
