More great news for the glamping world as Ready Camp, the official glamping network of The Camping and Caravanning Club, is rejoicing as the number of people staying on sites this year has grown. This has followed the addition of ten new sites to its network of UK glamping locations.
To add even more success to their already glistening portfolio Ready Camp is ending a successful season by becoming a finalist in the Best Holiday Rental for Families category at the 2017 Family Traveller Awards.
Ever since the launch in 2015 the network of sites that have added glamping to its attractions have grown from 17 in Ready Camp’s first year to 29 in 2016 and then 39 for this year’s camping season. All of the sites have proven very popular this year with new locations at Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire and Dartmouth being very well received by journalists from The Daily Star and The Sun.
Ready Camp also report that their locations in the South West of England have so seen a large growth in glamping nights sold of 71% year on year.
Reday Camp’s glamping accommodation are safari style tents that can sleep up to 6 people. As for adults they recommend that 4 adults would fit perfectly for a get away. Each tent comes with a triple bunkbed, double bed, seating area and a dining table. On top of that there is also a small kitchen area.
Ready Camp Sites Director Bob Hill said: “Ready Camp continues to prove popular with holidaymakers who camp infrequently and those who have little to no experience of camping.

At the end of the 2017 glamping season more than 10% of sales for glamping came from Read Campers who booked for than one tent for their glamping trips with friends and family. An announcement on the expansion of the Ready Camp network will be made early in the New Year.
