The new Truma smartphone app looks set to make things a whole lot easier when you’re out and about in your caravan or motorhome
A new Truma app is set for release, offering company news, information on Truma products and invaluable tools to facilitate existing Truma products built into caravans and motorhomes.
The app, available for smartphones on both Android and iOS platforms, will also provide existing Truma customers the opportunity to access manuals on the move, tips and how-to-videos and a camping app which tells you best place to park and even where the sun is at any particular time – an ideal opportunity for you to snag the best pitch no matter where you are.
The pièce de résistance, in our opinion, is the vehicle levelling function, which helps ensure your caravan or motorcaravan is perfectly horizontal. Just place your smartphone on the floor of the vehicle, enter the axle distance and the app will guide you through the levelling process with brief voice instructions and acoustic signals. Not bad for a little app.
We’re assured this is just the beginning and can’t wait to grab a hold of this handy little app when it’s released on 29 August 2014.
