The name Mercedes is not one that you may initially link to touring holidays. Now it seems that the luxury manufacturer have set their eyes on the caravan and motorhome industry with their new range of touring vehicles. At this year’s October NEC Mercedes-Benz Vans UK Ltd will be showcasing a variety of vehicles designed to inspire your future holiday adventures.
At this year’s Birmingham NEC show you will be able to find Mercedes-Benz Vans UK Ltd Hall 20m Stand 25, where they will be displaying their very best motorhomes and campervans. I have spent some time in the Mercedes Marco Polo which is a fantastic campervan that is cram packed with all new innovation and tech so I am excited to see what’s new from Mercedes.
Also on display will be the new Sprinter AL-KO low frame chassis, new Sprinter Van and Chassis Cab Motorhomes. Over the past few years the masses have flocked to staycation style leisure holidays and I can see Mercedes being a go to touring home for a lot of people.
The Mercedes Sprinter camper van combines the high end driving experience that comes with all Mercedes vehicles and the practical living space that you’d expect to find in a van conversion. My personal preference is the rear make up bed where you can open the back doors and watch the world go by.

Fiat have the market for motorhomes and coachbuild, with Ford slowly starting to creep into the UK market. Yes there are some motorhomes built on a Mercedes but not as many as Ford or Fiat. With such a turn on holiday trends will the UK start see a lot more Mercedes leisure vehicles on the road?
