Lunar set to debut 2015 Landstar range, including the new RL and S edition models
Lunar looks set to unveil its latest Landstar motorhome range next week at the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2014 and they sound out of this world.
The Landstar, based on a Mercedes Sprinter CDI, looks pretty snazzy from what we’ve seen so far with the EW model – standing for end washroom – set to make its debut alongside the RL (rear lounge) version, whilst the Landstar S edition will also be unveiled, offering a choice of end washroom or rear lounge layouts. The S edition will also come with a more powerful 316 CDI diesel engine as standard, special S edition upholstery and more.
Each Landstar is said to provide “maximum space, comfort and efficiency” and boasts a highspec kitchen including microwave, combi oven and grill along with three-buner hob (four-burner including one electric on the S edition), 95 litre fridge and textured, slate-effect high impact work surfaces with gloss cream locker doors. A well-equipped shower-room and lounge with seats measuring in at 6’3″ in length complete the look.
All models will also bring cruise control and speed limiter setting, a multi-functional steering wheel, daytime running lights, crosswind assist, an adaptive ESP safety handling system, ABS and traction control, alloy wheels, as well as an immobiliser and Bluetooth telephone and MP3 connectivity as standard, phew! The S edition will also include 17″ alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, separate oven and grill and and an HD TV with mutli media system, along with a 40W roof mounted solar panel amongst other additional extras.
