Is the ForFreedom the caravan of the future?

2015 has arrived and that means one thing. New caravans, motorhomes, accessories and lots more. But have you ever thought about what caravans of the not-so-distant future will look like?

Sure, we’ve seen the Caraviso and plenty of other concepts, but the ForFreedom caravan is possibly one that would blow all of the others out of the water.

Designed for urban living by Robert Williams, the ForFreedom, as seen on concept and design website, Tuvie, is touted as being an ‘expanded living unit’ for the urban couple in need of a short break. Nothing futuristic there then. But wait until you take a look at the video below.

Although the ForFreedom looks pretty small, you’d be surprised at how spacious it is. And that’s because of the sliding chassis and pivoted centre, which allows for the caravan to expand into a large living space with potential to create a panoramic view, the likes of which you’ve never seen before.
