Holidaymakers taking their tourer to Forest Holidays Camping and Caravanning Sites this winter will receive a festive gift in return.

The Camping and Caravanning Club is to hand out tiny Christmas trees to those staying at parks in Setthorns, Spiers House, Thorpe, Postern Hill, Beddgelert, Christchurch, Ardgartan and Glenmore in the run-up to December 25th.

Giving a sapling to visitors is aimed at helping them to appreciate the natural world and preserving the environment – a priority for Forest Holidays, according to Camping & Caravanning Club products manager Kerry Bhella.

“Camping over the festive period is a magical experience and there’s no better way to really get into the spirit of things than by pitching up under real Christmas trees.

“We would encourage everyone to give it a go – it’s the perfect time to recharge your batteries, spend time with loved ones and experience the true beauty of the great outdoors,” she continued.

Meanwhile, the Camping and Caravanning Club is offering a festive package of three nights on a serviced pitch at its Teversal site with a trip to Lincoln Christmas Market included for £40 per person.
