Last week at the NEC the product launches were the highlight of the show, for many people it is the sole reason for visiting the Motorhome and Caravan Show. Whale made a big splash at the show by announcing their new Easi-Slide Mains Electric In Exterior Utilities Socket.
This new handy mains electric in socks allows holiday makers to safely hook up 230V/16amp mains power to their caravan, motorhome or campervan while on site. So this should stop the kids bickering over who’s charging what and when and also allows a lot more choice of what electrical good you can use outside the van. TV in the sun anyone?
All nine sockets in the range incorporate the unique Whale Easi-Slide Lid with its streamlined design. The use of a sliding lid guarantees no more lid flapping noise or damage to your vehicle. Comfortable to use, the sockets provide a smooth easy slide open and close motion with a secure click feature to protect the internal parts when the socket is not in use. As well as being UV stabilised to prevent damage from the sun, all sockets are waterproof and rated to IP45 and IP55.
