The all-new Coachman Vision led the sales charge for the Yorkshire-based company

Coachman came away from the Motorhome & Caravan Show with a bulging order book after the Yorkshire-based manufacturer exceeded its own sales expectations.

The company used the October event at the NEC in Birmingham to showcase its array of touring caravans.

Coachman’s Jim Hibbs explained that it was a highly successful event for the manufacturer after dealers sold a record 356 units during week-long show.

Mr Hibbs said the changes to the 2014 range was a hit with dealers: “Technical developments for the 2014 season include the introduction of PU components and innovative bonded construction techniques across the ranges.”

Models such as the Coachman Pastiche, VIP and Laser all sold relatively well after undergoing a makeover ready for the new season.

Coachman also introduced the all-new Vision range, which featured a choice of eight flexible layouts and many premium features that belie its affordable price.
