Kickstarter project creates innovative cat home
Let’s be honest, we can’t get enough of cats. The Internet is proof enough of our obsession with the cheeky little balls of fur, but they’re not exactly easy to bring along on a caravan trip. Either they’re too busy hunting for presents to present to you when you arrive back home or they tear up the house in your absence, driven by boredom. Can’t think of a solution? Enter the team at Make Them Roar, a Kickstarter project that builds cat caravans. That’s right, cat caravans; they’re actually a thing now.
The Cat Caravan is designed to be a sturdy playhouse that will keep your best friend entertained for hours, but that’s not all. This delightful cardboard creation, modelled to look like a miniature caravan, is perfect for transporting the more scratchy of your cats, so there’s really no excuse to leave them behind on another trips again.
Bettina Frohn, the brains behind Make Them Roar, says that the unique design allows for up to three cats to play in the Cat Caravan. It features plenty of playful peepholes, two cardboard toys, a replaceable scratch pad and even folds up for easy storage. The Car Caravan is made in Britain with 100 per cent recycled cardboard, and is printed using water based ink.
