The Caravan Club wants its members to get snap happy for its Capture the Adventure competition

Calling all keen photographers! Following the launch of its Capture the Adventure competition, The Caravan Club is looking for the help of photography enthusiasts to snap the new front cover image of the new Sites Directory and Handbook.

The Club is looking for pictures that capture caravanning from the perspective of its members, showing the fun and inspiration that ties in with Great British caravan holidays. But the competition, which runs until 20 November this year, isn’t open to professionals, and entrants under the age of 12 must have parental consent.

The lucky competition winner will be awarded a brand new Canon EOS 750D Digital SLR Camera, along with a Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens. In addition to a fabulous new camera, the winner’s photograph will also be proudly displayed on the front cover of the 2017/2018 Sites Directory and Handbook.

As well as the fantastic prize for first place, two runners-up will be awarded the compact Canon PowerShot SX530 HS Digital Camera, so that they can carry on taking pictures of their caravan adventures.

But put Photoshop on hold because, although pictures can be cropped, enlarged and digitally enhanced to remove spots or scratches, judges won’t consider images that have been so excessively treated that they no longer look authentic.

You can enter up to ten photographs, but they mustn’t have been entered into any other competitions, or been offered for sale.

All entries must be taken in the UK, by UK residents only – including the Isle of Man and residents of the Channel Islands.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, you can submit your photographs here.

Good luck!
