New exterior and interior designs, as well as two new models, set to impress motorhomers for the new season

Swift’s Bolero range is set to turn heads with new exterior styling, as well as a new luxury interior and two brand new models for 2016.

Beginning on the outside, the Bolero’s profile has been given a new look for the new season, with a brand new GRP front pod housing an open sky view window and a new rear panel providing for a sportier valance. Exterior lighting comes courtesy of new LED lighting too and will feature daytime running lights, front market lights and Swift’s exclusive LED rear light clusters providing for better visibility.

The cab will remain in black metallic, but will feature new graphics, which complement the white sides that are also constructed with GRP on the inside and out. Meanwhile, Swift’s new SMART Plus construction system will feature throughout, which has evolved from Swift’s previous offering of SMART and will include a new sandwich floor construction system with GRP outer skin to better protect from the elements, an upgraded hail-resistant roof, as well as a front window jig made from full GRP and foam construction.

New roof cappings and integrated roof rails, high PVC skirts and an integrated awning complete the exterior look on all models, whilst each one will be based on the Fiat Ducato with Al-KO chassis conversion coming with 16″ alloy wheels.

Joining the five model layout for 2016 will be the 612EK featuring parallel front lounge and rear kitchen, whilst the larger 744PR with u-shaped rear lounge will provide for more room. Other models include the four seater, four berth 84FB with fixed double bed, the four seater, four berth 714SB with fixed twin beds and end washroom and the 724FB four seater, four berther with fixed double bed and end washroom.

Meanwhile, inside the Fiat cab, additional specification includes a Techno silver dashboard trim, DAB radio and steering wheel controls as standard.

The rest of the interior sees a complete overhaul for 2016, starting with new Oyster Grey curved upper locker doors coming with a lower gloss ‘Aralie Sen’ inlay, as well as warm white kitchen lockers providing the feeling of more light and space throughout. Chrome accents and chrome strips on locker doors also come as standard, as do push button catches, sockets and a new backlit entrance door handle.

When it comes to soft furnishings, a more sumptuous feels comes courtesy of the new ‘Nirvana’ design, featuring shaped foam bedding and comprising of three fabrics in oyster, platinum and brown.

In the kitchen, aside from the white lockers as previously mentioned, a FENIX NTM worktop, resistant to scratches, should stave away nasty nicks when it comes to chopping the veg, and a new underslung stainless steel sink and worktop extension flap (model specific) complement the exclusive-to-Swift Dometic oven and new and improved drawers on smooth runners.

In the washroom, a restyled vanity unit swivel spout tap, better lighting and new fitting, including an Ecocamel Orbit showerhead will provide for everything required when it comes to freshening up.

Another piece of new kit for 2016 is the Swift Command control system, which includes an intelligent power supply unit and smart new LCD control panel which allows for enhanced control panel functionality. A new Swift Command app which can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet means that the Bolero’s system can be controlled by you from inside or wherever you are in the world whenever a Wi-Fi connection is available.

High specification continues with Alde central heating, BBQ point and Winter pack fitted as standard, with the Bolero achieving Grade 3 performance for heating and thermal insulation allowing the range to truly be a motorhome for all seasons.

Nick Page, Swift’s commercial director said: “The new Bolero is simply stunning and packed with great features. So if you are looking for a motorhome that exudes style and quality then buy one of these new models, we are sure you won’t be disappointed.”
