Two keen caravanners are embarking on a mission in memory of their late son who passed away in 2011.

Roy and Jacqueline Fredrickson plan on travelling to the most eastern and western parts of the UK for their son Jon who lost his battle with a brain tumour a number of years ago.

The husband and wife explained that Jon was a keen traveller and was aiming to reach every corner of the UK but conceded that due to his condition, which had required continual chemotherapy sessions, he needed to make modest plans.

Sadly, he was not able to achieve this goal but in his honour his parents will be travelling across the country to raise money for research with The Brain Tumour Charity-Jon Fredrickson Fund.

The Caravan Club has given its backing to the campaign and is encouraging anyone who would like to give money to contact Jacqueline either by email or by calling 01454 317886.
