Swift Caravans

Swift caravans are some of the most popular models on sale

Founded in 1965, Swift has quickly grown from humble origins to include popular brands such as Sprite, Sterling and Bessacarr.

Expansion into the sectors of static caravans and motorhomes has only strengthened the company and today it is recognised as one of the world’s biggest-selling manufacturers of leisure homes of all types.

Innovations for 2017

Across the ranges there has been quite a few changes, most notably the roll-out of dometic features such as the new CU600 cooker.

The cookers are said to improve cooking times and generally enhance the uniformity of cooking.

As usual the interiors have been spruced up, with new alternative modern decors available in each range.

Certain ranges have undergone far greater levels of alterations than others, such as the Challenger and Sterling Eccles, both seeing three new models to their fleets.

Swift Conqueror

The only additional feature to the Swift Conqueror this year is the new Dometic CU600 cooker.

However, that being said, the Conqueror range has been given an interior make-over, with a new furnishing scheme.
There is a wide panoramic sunroof creating a light-filled seating area, with backrest cushions.
There are also gloss upper locker doors, in ashen brown, with inlays and luxury full width curtains, perfect for privacy, day or night.
For an in-depth look see our Swift Conqueror page.

Swift Elegance

Just as with the Sterling Continental, Swift have introduced a new 650 twin-axle caravan to the fleet to stand alongside the six models from last year.
The 650 will cost the same as its 645 counterpart, both priced at £29,795, with each standing at 7.94m tall and 2.26m wide.
However, the new addition to the Elegance line-up will have a rear island bed with facing television and a full washroom between the bedroom and kitchen.

Swift Challenger

Three new models have been launched in the Challenger range for 2017, bringing the current total of models to nine.
Of the three models introduced there is the single-axle 560, which comes with a rear island bed and central washroom.
The other two, the 635 and 645, are twin-axles, with the former having a bedroom across the back of the camper and a washroom in the centre and the latter the other way around.
Both twin-axle models will also have a tall slimline Dometic fridge-freezer. The gloss locker doors are now also in grey.

The six-berth Quattro DD will have seating areas in both the front and rear, with bunks above the rear and a central offside shower room.
