The Adria Altea 542 DT offers families a well designed and extremely lightweight six-berth tourer which can be towed by virtually any family car. This single-axle model has a comfortable living space with two seating areas and is fully-equipped with everything a family could need. The front dining area converts to a double bed, while the nearside seats transform into a single bed. Meanwhile, in the rear offside corner triple bunks make up the rest of the sleeping arrangements. A corner washroom to the rear comes with a curtained shower, Thetford C200 CS toilet and washbasin while the kitchen area packs all facilities needed for family chefs. A Spinflo three-ring hob and oven with grill are flanked by a stainless steel sink, microwave and 90-litre fridge.
Adria Caravans have demonstrated their keen eye for design with the Altea range, and the 542 DT is a great example of this. The spacious, light and bright tourer comes with two Heki rooflights which provide a great sense of space to complement the stylish ‘Peco Icaro’ furniture and cool ‘Maxim 3998’ floor pattern. ‘Oyster’ upholstery meanwhile provides a soft yet chic finish, which really sets off the caravan’s look.
A warm caravan, the 542 DT is fully insulated while operating a Trum Ultrastore gas and electric water heater alongside Truma’s 3002 heater. Spotlights in the living areas are supplemented by a main ceiling light and an awning light to create an extra space in the evening for when the children are asleep.
