Glororum Holiday Park, near Bamburgh, has been working hard to attract more visitors to the north of Northumberland.
The site has undergone a £500,000 makeover to ensure that more people are enticed to travel to the region and see some of the magnificent sights it has to offer.
Northumberland boasts impressive coastal views as well as quaint towns and villages such as Alnwick and Rothbury not to mention the attractions of Alnwick Castle and Coquet Island.
Glororum Holiday Park has been working alongside its sister sites in Warkworth, Cresswell and South Shields to attract more visitors and the park has seen a number of changes in recent times.
These include the conversion of vacant land into 42 hard-standing pitches complete with electricity and waste disposal facilities. A new shower block and indoor washing up area has also been added.
Owner Nigel Thompson said: “The upgraded facilities at Glororum means that we will have one of the best sites for touring caravans in the area and this will play an important part in Northumberland’s tourist draw.”
