There aren’t many people in this world who can make a successful jump between two opposing businesses – just ask Sol Campbell – but former Coronation Street and EastEnders actress Michelle Collins is one of them.
As a member of the Caravan Club, the TV actress has been invited by the Club to open the Manchester show on this year’s Club Day (23 January).
Michelle has graced our screens as both Albert Square’s Cindy Beale and Corrie’s Stella Price, making her a true soap opera great.
On show with her will be the ‘Corrie-Van’, a soap star’s caravanning dream, which features everything from a Rovers Return bar to iconic yellow and blue cladding to represent the outside of Jack and Vera’s family home.
Unfortunately for those who prefer EastEnders, there will be no Queen Vic equivalent. But considering the show is based in Manchester, we’re sure you’ll understand why.
To visit Michelle and the ‘Corrie-Van’ get yourself down to The Caravan Club’s stand (Hall 3-15) and you might even come away with a soap star’s autograph.
