Jason Thompson to undoubtedly bring wealth of experience to new role

Coachman Caravans has appointed Jason Thompson as Purchasing and Logistics Manager.

Thompson, a CIPS qualified professional, joins Coachman with 25 years’ experience within the caravan industry.

He assumes all business responsibilities for bill of material control, buying, stock control, stores and logistics within the company.

Having spent the majority of his career in senior management positions within the industry, specialising in purchasing and logistics, Thompson is sure to bring his vast experience in research and development and business systems to Coachman, based in Hull.

Martin Henderson, Coachman’s Managing Director, said: “We are all very excited by Jason’s arrival.

“His appointment strengthens our team and this role will form a key position in our future business improvement.”

Coachman Caravans is one of the leading caravan manufacturers in the industry, employing almost 170 staff at its base in Hull, East Yorkshire. The company recently unveiled its new Vision and Pastiche ranges, including two brand new, innovative models for 2016.
